To become an empowering and community development institution that can provide direction for change to realize a sustainable society.
Mission
1. Facilitating community empowerment and development activities for UMS lecturers and development actors.
2. Guiding societal change toward self-reliant and prosperous communities through the sustainable application of science and technology, particularly in Central Java.
3. Compiling, reviewing, and promoting appropriate science and technology that meets community needs.
4. Developing synergistic collaboration between government, community, and business sectors.
5. Implementing human resource and institutional development at UMS by establishing leadership and management systems, as well as a broad network for community development that supports the achievement of UMS’s vision.
Bbjectives/Goals
1. The realization of an integrated community of social change agents, both mono- and multi-disciplinary, from among the academic community of UMS.
2. The realization of innovation and the application of science and technology to stimulate the capabilities, independence, and self-reliance of the community.
3. The realization of community service programs organized in collaboration with local governments and communities as a form of downstreaming research activities.
4. The establishment of collaboration with industry to enhance the capabilities of higher education institutions and partnerships in professional training.
5. The consolidation of collaboration among public and private higher education institutions across Indonesia through the LPPM PTN/PTS Consortium nationwide.
